Working 9 months of the year from my studio at the Tryon International Equestrian Center, I am surrounded by world class athletes and their horses.  “Heels Down” captures the powerful, yet fluid motion of the hunter horse while conveying the relationship to the rider by incorporating the stirrup.  This piece would work well at the entry to a farm or an arena!
