209 | Painting: Oil
“My Paintings are bright and colorful. I use oil paint. By applying transparent glazes of one color over another, an object can appear to be three-dimensional. I also apply thick layers of paint, with a brush or palette knife, for texture. My process works well with both my Native American paintings: old “beaded” moccasins, baskets, or weavings: and my Travel Escape paintings: an Italian window, an English garden or a poppy field in Provence.”
“All my paintings have a paw-print somewhere to honor my studio assistant…can you find it?”
