Much of my work pertains to history and nature; often of the American West -- and specifically, the people and animals that made their home on the Great Plains. Through my paintings, I shake the dust off the past and present these traditional subject matters in a more vivid, contemporary way. My interest might be the 19th century but I paint it as a 21st century artist.
Paintings are done on 300lb watercolor paper. Once complete, they are mounted to an acid-free, art quality hard board and finished with multiple coats of an acrylic archival varnish. The archival varnish provides UV protection and eliminates the need for glass. All paintings are appropriately framed and ready to hang.

Shipping Policy
Paintings ship from Arizona. 5% shipping added at checkout.
Artist will ship UPS, Federal Express or USPS, with tracking. Pieces are generally shipped within 5 business days, but some pieces; e.g., larger paintings that require a special shipping box, may take longer. The artist will contact you to let you know expected shipping date when this is the case. Purchaser will receive a receipt and tracking details when the item ships.
Refund Policy
This artist will accept purchases returned within 14 days of delivery. There is a 10% restocking fee on any artwork that is returned. If you would like to return the work please contact this artist at fergusonfineart@gmail.com for the return shipping address. Return shipping is at the expense
of the purchaser, and must include insurance for the full value of the artwork, and the artwork must be received back by the artist in the exact same condition that it was shipped. Refunds are processed within 30 days of the artwork being returned. In the rare instance of damages to the artwork when shipping from the artist to you, please email fergusonfineart@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving the artwork. You will need to document with photographs all damages to packaging and the artwork to allow the artist to file an insurance claim with the mail carrier and return the damaged item to the artist. Upon receipt of the damaged item the artist will ship out a replacement, if available. If a replacement is not available the artist will refund the full purchase price of your item.
